FREE – The Link Symposium: Breaking the Cycles of Violence

DESCRIPTION: Different types of abuse are connected, it is scientifically proven. This is called “The Link.” 

In 77% of animal abuse cases, animal abuse was part of a larger pattern of violence.

We are dedicated to helping law enforcement understand how they can better predict and prevent cases like this in the future. Agencies from across the state are invited to join us in Houston on October 16, 2023, for a one-day Symposium regarding The Link.

DATE: Monday, October 16, 2023

REGISTRATION: 7:00AM – 8:00AM

TIME: 8:00AM – 5:30PM

LOCATION: BakerRipley Harbach Campus

This complimentary event is open to Law Enforcement and Animal Control Officers ONLY.

Attendees are eligible for 8 hours of TCOLE/CLE/CE credits.
