Texas Humane Network Announces New Executive Director

DALLAS, Texas – The Texas Humane Network, a 501(c)3 created to provide educational programs promoting the humane treatment of animals across Texas, has announced Erin Van Landingham as its new Executive Director.

“We are so pleased to announce this appointment,” reports Jacqueline Conley Allen, President of Texas Humane Network’s Board of Directors. “Erin will bring strong leadership skills and creativity to the organization’s programs along with unwavering dedication to promoting the humane treatment of animals in Texas.”

“I am honored to take on the role of Executive Director of Texas Humane Network and am ready to begin working with such a wonderful team and these important issues facing Texans and their animals across the state,” said Erin Van Landingham.

Based in Austin, Erin has a Master of Science from Texas State University and has fifteen years of nonprofit operations experience assisting underserved and vulnerable populations. Erin is a volunteer of and serves as the Board Chair-Elect with Divine Canines, a therapy dog organization that provides free therapy dog services to thousands of special populations in Central Texas.

Erin and her husband, Steven, are proud pet parents to rescues Hitch, Sister, Cole, Ms. Marvel, and Vlad. They have fostered and found loving and responsible homes for over 100 dogs of all shapes and sizes with various Austin-based rescues and shelters.

“Texas Humane Network’s Board of Directors also thanks Shelby Bobosky, who has served as Executive Director since 2020,” concluded Allen. “Under her leadership, Texas Humane Network has only continued to thrive, and we look forward to the next chapter of Texas Humane Network.”
